One of the current Business Model Architect users inspired me with a new suggestion for a workshop:
When you start a new business or a new business project in an existing organization, you may want to write down a full business plan in order to make sure, that you have the same idea about the business model and where you are heading.
However, it might be a good idea to check the teams alignment before you start writing the business plan.
A fast way to do this is to let each member of the team outline the business model as they see it with Business Model Architect, capture it on My Business Model, compare the results and discuss the differences.
In an established organisation it is also a way to start a strategy process: Make each member of the strategy team outline the current business model as they see it and discuss the differences. If large groups are involved in the strategy process, you can also let groups (e.g. departments) define the business model as they see it.
